Special camps to update the electoral roll will be held at every polling station in Kesarganj district on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm, the district election office said.

Booth-level officers will help residents check their entries, add new names and correct mistakes. Officials urged young people who turn 18 by the next qualifying date to register now.

What to bring

  • One proof of age and one proof of address.
  • A recent passport-size photograph.
  • Your existing voter ID number, if you are correcting details.

Forms can also be filled online before the camp. Officers at the camp can help you check the status of an application you have already submitted.

"Please check your name even if you voted last time," said a district election official. "Spelling mistakes and old addresses are the most common problems we see on polling day."

Residents who cannot visit the camps can contact their booth-level officer through the district helpline.
